There was only one record of a Black-throated Green Warbler from west of the Cumberland Plateau reported during the 86-91 atlas fieldwork. This report was from Cheatham County, which, like Lewis County, is on the Western Highland Rim. I recall a couple or so other reports of potentially breeding birds from the Western Highland Rim during the early-mid 1990s, but I haven't searched back issues of The Migrant for these records. Let us know if your bird stays around. I would think nesting this far west in Tennessee would be very unusual, but I don't have a copy of the breeding bird atlas handy.
