18 SEP 04 Musick's Lakeside Campground S. Holston Lake Sullivan Co., TN . This morning between 07:30 and 10:00 HRS Larry McDaniel, Rack Cross, and Rick Knight observed a single adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL at Musick's Lakeside Campground on S. Holston Lake in Sullivan County, Tennessee. The bird was making long streaks following the main lake channel from Washington County, VA to Sullivan Co., TN continuing each lap out of our sight. A pair of Laughing Gulls came from the Virginia side of the lake and made a one way trip over our heads and out of sight. . Tom McNeil and J.T. McNeil arrived just missing the gull, but catching some shorebird action. Highlights include: .
