The Lebanon CBC was held Saturday, Jan, 2, 2021. We had 10 participants.
76 species were counted. 5473 individual birds were counted. This year was
about average for the 6 years this new circle has been run. The highest
count year was 80 species and the lowest was 67 species. The best bird of
the day was a Merlin. Misses this year include Common Loon, and Horned
Grebe. Ducks were also hard to find this year. Construction in Wilson
County is destroying many of our former birding spots.
