Super excited to stumble onto a Least Bittern in Williamson County today. The
bird flushed from the edge of a pond in Big East Fork Retreat. To my knowledge
the pond is only accessible via a hike from Timberland Park off the Natchez
Trace. It flushed away from the pond down the creek so it could be tough to
refind. This appears to be an eBird county first record. Thankfully I was able
to capture a couple photos as the bird flew across the pond.
