November 29, 2002 UT Plant Science Farm Knox Co., TN Three dozen+ Am Pipits still reside at the UT Plant Science Farm by the river. The LAPLAND LONGSPUR count is now up to four. You will need a scope to ID by plumage as they are quite sciddish, but they were frequently calling their clear whistles and their ddddddt rattles. No Horned Larks or the hoped for Snow Buntings were seen.
