I had an errand downtown Thursday morning before work so afterwards I
headed over to the Easton Road duck pond around 09:30 and easily located
the Little Blue Heron, Great Egret, and a Great Blue Heron. I'm pretty
sure I've seen LB Heron in Knox Co before but can't find a record of it so
this is officially #231 for me in Knox Co. Thanks again to Jay for the
report.
Also had a Fish Crow this morning near the Western Plaza shopping center
on Kingston Pike which isn't too far from the lake but a new spot for me.
Also had 4 Fish Crows in the Lowe's Ferry area of Blount County back on
9 July so they seem to be doing well.

A hearty thank you goes to Jay Sturner for reporting the juv. Little
Blue Heron at the stinky pond at the intersection of Easton Road and
Colonial Drive in South Knoxville. It was still there at 3:45 p.m. with
the 3 Green Herons and great Egret.
