[TN-Bird] Kittiwake - Seen today

South Holston Dam, Sullivan Co., TN
Black-legged Kittiwake - 1 imm.
Seen this afternoon from the top of the dam.
Park near the flag pole & look up the lake.
It has spent most of its time VERY DISTANT from this spot,
but no other sites are available from which to see this part
of the lake.
A spotting scope is essential.
Thus far, it has not associated with other gulls.
It usually flies around where loons, grebes, or ducks are diving.
