Announcing FIELD TRIP to Kyker Bottoms

KTOS will be hosting a Kyker Bottoms Refuge Field Trip on Thursday November
10th. Meet by 8:00 a.m. at the Big Gully paved lot (35.602012, -84.122547). We
will bird from the overlook area there before proceeding to the north entrance
off Lanier Rd (35.611022, -84.121593). Hiking on the north side is about 1.5 to
2 miles. Expect to be done by noon.
If you have hunter orange, you might want to bring it.
We hope to find sparrows, Marsh Wren, Virginia Rail, Northern Harrier, and
maybe we'll get lucky and see early waterfowl!
