[TN-Bird] Re: Just a question

We don't really have any wild Muscovy Ducks here, just some occasionally wild-breeding non-established escapees. Those are clearly "domestics" by phenotype. The wild-type Muscovy is solid black except for white wing patches and underwing coverts; the facial skin is black, too. Given many generations of breeding in the wild they can revert to the wild-type; the fact that ours in middle TN are still "domestic" phenotypes is an indicator that they are not far removed from captivity.

I am finally downloading and labeling my bird pics to smugmug and I have come across a pair of Muscovy Ducks photographed at Duck River on 11-05-12. Should I consider these ducks escaped domestics or the real deal. Pics Sent. Thank you!
