Today a friend of mine showed me this poor quality attached photo of a bird he
saw in his yard yesterday. He said he thought it sounded like a Great-crested
Flycatcher. I told him highly unlikely but anymore it seems like there are
several sightings of birds when we do not expect to see them. Some of the bird
calls I played for him included: Brown-headed Cowbird, Red-wing Blackbird, both
Tanagers, perhaps some others. I also said possibly Mockingbird but since it
did not do any other calls so he did not think so.
I would be interested in what you people think. I will let my friend know.
