Same here -- I've heard them twice in the past 3 weeks, but have not seen them. 
Still, it's a beautiful sound, flying dinosaurs.

This morning on Nov. 26, 2008 While Shane Adams was Deer hunting food plot 
fields behind Holts Chuch in West Hamblen County about 11:00 a.m I have heard 
Sandhill Cranes calling but not seen passing through Morristown maybe this is 
the first recorded of the Sandhill Cranes & Whooping Cranes this year in 
Hamblen County & Morristown, TN. and also Happy Thanksgiving Everybody.
