Common loon, non-breeding plumage. It has been there since May 7th. It is
rare but not unheard of for them to stay in Tennessee throughout the summer.
Time will tell on this one. Someone suggested that it might not have enough
room to take off. This the first time we have had one reported at the Duck
Pond.
