A couple of weeks ago when it was still raining all the time, I saw this hawk
at Brainerd Levee, right at the tree line between the woods and the open field
of the levee, facing toward the open field. It was sitting high up in a tree
with its wings slightly open, and looked wet/damp. I didn't see it fly. What
do y'all think...is it a red tailed hawk, or....?
I have seen red-tailed and red-shouldered hawks in this area before.
