I made a run through Hamilton County today on my way home to Knoxville. The
Lark Sparrow was still present next to the park where it has been for a week.
The peregrine falcon was sitting on one of the two railroad towers below the
dam. At Booker T the wind was up and the water fairly choppy. I did find the
Pacific Loon but could not locate the Red-throated loon or Long-tailed Duck. A
probable Surf Scoter flew in with a 200-300 mixed flock of ducks There were
3 large rafts of ducks this afternoon. All 3 had scaup, Canvasbacks and
Redheads.
