I birded the marsh this morning and heard the first sora of the fall
calling,
I also had 6 warbler species:
Magnolia 3
Common Yellowthroat 2 (male and female)
Yellow 2
Hooded 3, (one male)
Bay Breasted, 1
American Redstart. 4 (all female/immature)
Also seen were a green heron, great blue heron, wood duck, several gray
catbirds, brown thrashers and chimney swifts.
Construction on the sewer upgrades has resumed so parking on the gravel
roads is not a good idea except on weekends.
