Although they are not singing yet, we banded 2 Grasshopper Sparrows today at
Seven Islands in Southeastern Knox County. We also had White-crowned, Field
and Swamp Sparrows. One of the Field Sparrows was banded at the begining of
last summer.

The Tree Swallows and Purple Martins are starting to check out the PUMA house
and gourds. We put up 13 (milk carton) Prothonotary Warbler nest boxes along
the river.
