I observed three Grasshopper Sparrows perched out in
the open and singing (if you call that singing) this
afternoon. This is the same site they were in last year,
located in the Whitehall Farms subdivision, at the end
of Whitehall Dr., off of Del Rio Pike. The location is
in Williamson County, northeast of Franklin. I fear these
fields will not exist much longer as this subdivison is
growing rapidly.

Talk and walk softly, carry a big
scope.
