Greetings from the Charlotte Park area of West Nashville just east of the
Cleece's Ferry ramp on the Cumberland River in Davidson County.
Early today, I had two goldfinches shucking sunflower seed at my tube feeder.
They do not grace my yard very often. In direct sun, they were absolutely
glittering in their well-marked winter garb which even allowed for tinges of
gold to reflect reminding me of how they'll look come spring.
