While boating, I observed two Golden Eagles on a high cliff next to the lake. They were flying and perching in the trees on top of the cliffs. March 13, 2004 2:00 p.m. Eagle PassTrail, Ashland City Bicentennial Trail (old railroad). Bald Eagle nest with a mature bird in the nest and another one nearby. Approx. 1 mile from trailhead, looking across embayment. Visible with binoculars.
