Attached is the link to the Federal Register Publication on the Golden
Eagles Take permit that has been applied for by West Butte Wind Project. This
application is based on a new provision in the Bald and Golden Eagle
Protection Act that was passed in 2009 allowing programatic "take" or killing
of
eagles to accommodate wind energy primarily.

This will be the first permit of its kind and should be reviewed carefully
by many knowledgeable people. The Federal Publication page gives
detailed information about how to comment and how to obtain more information

the Div. of Migratory Birds.
