Victor Stoll and I were working in the area, so we stopped by Snow
Bunting Peninsula before and after work today in hopes that Chris Agee's
Gull would be continuing.
No luck with the gull, but we saw over 100 TERNS of 4 species, as well as
4 SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS and 2 WILLETS.
I counted 112 FORSTER'S TERNS flying over and resting on the water at one
time, which wasn't the full number that were present, but the number I'm
going with. 2 BLACK TERNS were also seen following the Tern flock, and I
finally managed to pick out a single COMMON TERN when they came closer,
though there may have been more there.
Many of the Terns picked up and headed out at 6:30, appearing to be
leaving.
