During our last Christmas Count, our group was investigated (very politely)
by TVA police, just as we finished our work. After a little research, we find
that we can enter the area legally by calling Dennis Spencer, the Plant

our
Christmas Count circle and is a fairly good site for ducks, gulls, waterfowl
and
waders, one of the few remaining useful spots in our increasingly urban
surroundings. We have also obtained a contact point for access to the Boxwell
Scout
Reserve and can assist anyone wanting to access that area given plenty of
advance notice. Walking about on black coal berms provides an unusual color
experience while birding. Ralph Brinkhurst, Lebanon, Wilson Co...
