Comments:     A late afternoon run through the pits was rewarded by
400+ Lesser Scaup, the Female long-tailed duck, a Harlan's hawk, and a
Loggerhead Shrike.

Lesser Scaup  400     Easily 400+
Long-tailed Duck  1     Female seen previously many times was sleeping
right in the middle of the 400+ Lesser Scaup. Seen on the TVA pond.
Hooded Merganser  14     Swimming on the smaller pond next to the TVA pond.
Pied-billed Grebe  1
Great Blue Heron  2
Northern Harrier  3
Red-tailed Hawk  6     Six RT's, including the Harlan's hawk near the dump.
