I drove to Eagle Bend this morning. Among the finds, I saw 4 female Hooded
Mergansers, 1 Osprey, and 3 Wilson's Snipe.

While this doesn't necessarily apply to TN, I returned yesterday from a
trip to Dauphin Island. (I never met Jeff Wilson, but all of your tributes
to him inspired me to spend my spring break birding southern Alabama.) Some
highlights were a Swallow tailed Kite, fos Black and white Warbler, fos N
Parula. I was especially excited to be the first person to find AL's FOS
Prothonotary Warbler at the Shell Mounds.
Happy birding!
