Dear TN-birders,
I got this email from the editor of the TOS journal, The MIGRANT. I am
taking the liberty to pass it along to the members of TN-bird in the hopes
that there are some of you out there that have interesting bird sightings
that would be good fodder for what is called a round table note for the
journal. The MIGRANT is constantly needing material for publication that
would be interesting and informative. It doesn't have to be a scientific
research article, but that's fine as well.

Hello all -- our backlog of content for The Migrant is dwindling again,
fairly quickly, Please consider submitting a full article or a Roundtable
Note or a Book Review etc. Please forward this email to anyone who you
think may be interested in writing.
Articles include descriptions of state records, unusual observations of
behavior, a season or long-term study (or a small aspect of such a
study), analysis or thoughts unique to Tennessee ornithology (such as
state distribution or abundance shifts in a species), as well as other
subjects.
Roundtable Notes are much more casual, can be a paragraph or two describing
observations such as a new county record, unusual behavior, species
interactions, predator-prey etc. New ideas or angles for both articles or
Roundtable Notes content are welcome.
Thanks for your consideration and helping to spread the word. If anyone is
not sure where to start or is a bit timid about writing, I am glad to help
