As of 11:10 AM this morning, the bird was still present. Also present were 8
adult Canada Geese and 5 goslings, 1 Green Heron, 2 Solitary Sandpipers, and 1
American Coot.

At the time of observation, the bird was north of the Barn sited in the Mann
report and was on a mudlfat/cowtrack area. It flew to a grassy area near a
hunting blind while being observed.

If you happen to be coming from Adams, instead of the south, the pond/barn is
located in this manner.

Adams is on US 41 between Springfield, TN and Guthrie, KY. In Adams, take TN
73 south 0.3 miles to its junction with TN 256. Turn left on TN 256 and
proceed exactly 1.5 miles. The red barn the 3rd red barn you will encounter,
but is obvious due to the pond and a gravel parking pad.

The pond is fenced and clearly mark, (Keep your butt out). However, scoping
from the barn does not seem to be a problem.

Thank you for this post. This was a lifer for me.

Other birds of possible interest observed in TN were a colony of Cliff Swallows
on the Keysburg/Adams Road and a single Loggerhead Shrike on the Keysburg Road.
