Might as well mention the time that the local paper printed an article about 
excessive spring rain causing the area wheat crop to be "fowled" with a 
destructive fungus.  This was followed in the fall by a Thanksgiving article 
saying that many people would be enjoying their roasted "foul" the following 
day.
