Still hoping to find a Cristobal-borne Sooty Tern in Nashville, I've spent
nearly an hour at Percy Priest dam overlook, where there are five distant
Forster's Terns flying around the island. They have been intermittently
joined by two Caspian Terns.
I neglected to report it here, but on June 9th at Cook recreation area, I
had a single flyby Common Tern. Getting the terns, just but the one we want!
At the dam today there is also a continuing Common Loon and Lesser Scaup.
The latter still appears injured or sick to me, as it is hugging the shore
and not seen diving.
