Pickwick State Park, Hardin County I had a luncheon meeting at the Pickwick SP lodge yesterday (1/29). When I arrived, I noticed a crow perched atop a pine tree behind the lodge, near the lake shore. As I got out of my vehicle, I immediately heard the nasal "caw" of a Fish Crow. A second bird flew in and joined the first, and the two were very vocal. They stayed in the area for as long as I could watch, but I did not see or hear them after lunch. Dwight Cooley and Scott Gravette had two Fish Crows calling near the TVA campground during the Savannah CBC. I will assume these are the same birds.
