Lavergne, TN
Traveling

Spent the morning birding mud holes at the field trial area this morning.
Lots of actvity. I would pull up to good binocs range and turn the truck
off and sit and wait and see what would show up.

Lots of Brown Thrashers, and Catbirds this morning.

Ended up at a mud hole in the start of a wooded area with shrubs near a
field.

Magnolia Warblers
Common Yellow-throat
Ovenbird
Blue-wing Warbler
Tennessee Warbler
N. Parula
Wood Peewee
Least Flycatcher
Yellow-bellied Flycatcher
Am. Redstart
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
White-eyed Vireo
Red-eyed Vireo
Philadelphia Vireo
Swainson's Thrush

Were all seen

Stayed there so long, Catbird and Wood Peewee tried to get in the truck
with me.

Had a Merlin dive after something in the big front pond. 3 Least Sandpipers
in the pond. Green Heron, Great Egrets, and Black- crowned nightheron also
see.

Cooper's Hawk, Red-shouldered Hawk also seen.

Great morning

Good birding
