The Eurasian collared dove returned to my home in the Charlotte Park section
of West Nashville to have its dinner at about 5;15 PM. It is just flat-out
gorgeous! In the unusual light with the sun out right after a rain, its
buffy plumage looked almost peach-colored........like peach ice cream! Its
black
collar really stands out. What a gorgeous bird! It ate quickly and was
gone in five minutes. It would be nice if it would become a "regular,"
although
I understand some folks consider them a "problem" in some parts of the
country. Oooops, I remember when I was so impressed with having
starlings!!!!!!
'Nuff said?
