Good Morning Fellow Birders,

Although it is dark, dreary and drizzling here in the Charlotte Park
section of West Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, my hummingbird feeder
has
been busy since first light. It seems that we must have had a massive
migration hit here during the night. They are so hungry that they even beat
my usual early morning cardinals to my deck feeding area. The hummers perch
and sip the sweet water for long feedings which tell me they are really
hungry. Love those precious little birds and am glad they found my feeder
which I refilled fresh late yesterday. My goldfinches and babies just
arrived for their swing at the thistle feeder followed closely by the
chickadees.
The bird world is waking up. My Eurasian collared doves just arrived.
They are all hungry.
