Several birders converged on Snow Bunting Peninsula around lunchtime, and the
Eared Grebe was easily seen along the shore right behind the large picnic
pavilion with the green roof. We also had several groups of Sandhill Cranes
fly overhead ranging in size from a couple of birds to a flock of about 30.
