[TN-Bird] Eagle Bend fish hatchery - shorebirds

TN-birders,
Dollyann & I went out to Eagle Bend fish hatchery in Anderson Co. this
afternoon and had 39 species. Of note were the shorebids. They have drained
several ponds and a couple of them held multiple species; notable for the
afternoon were:
Horned Grebe – 1
Killdeer – 7
Spotted Sandpiper – 3
Solitary Sandpiper – 16
Greater Yellowlegs – 1
Lesser Yellowlegs – 15
Least Sandpiper - 15
Pectoral Sandpiper – 3
Purple Martin – 10
Orchard Oriole – 1 female
Also of note: Dollyann spotted 1 Eurasian Collared-Dove on a power pole at the
Anderson Co. Co-op on the way to the hatchery.
