TN-birders,
14 birders joined Dollyann and me for our field trip to the Eagle Bend fish
hatchery in Anderson County yesterday morning. It started out a bit foggy but
soon cleared and we had a nice, crisp morning to enjoy a varied assortment of
birds. Thanks go to Mike Smith, the hatchery manager for leaving the gate open
for us and for leaving the hatchery building open so we had access to a nice
bathroom. Thanks also to Chuck Nicholson for his help with interesting
information about may of the species we saw yesterday.
