Radnor Lake State Natural Area Davidson Co. Nashville, TN 15 August Yesterday morning, Sunday, I went to Radnor. It was more active than a week ago with sightings of some birds that are local breeders but may have been passing through. Included were: Eastern Wood-Pewee 4 Great Crested Flycatcher 1 Red-eyed Vireo 1 Yellow Warbler 1 male Kentucky Warbler 2 Hooded Warbler 1 female Summer Tanager 2 males beginning to moult Bellevue Davidson Co. Nashville TN The cooler weather seems to have sent many of my Ruby-throated Hummingbirds on their way. I have had no additional sighting of the Rufous Hummingbird since Chris banded it. I guess he decided to look for a warmer reception elsewhere. -- Frank Fekel Tennessee State University Center of Excellence in Information Systems 330 10th Avenue North Nashville, TN 37203 USA =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to sign your messages with first and last name, city (town) and state abbreviation. ----------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, simply send email to: tn-bird@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ----------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send email to: tn-bird-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TN-Bird Net is owned by the Tennessee Ornithological Society Neither the society(TOS) nor its moderator(s) endorse the views or opinions expressed by the members of this discussion group.
