[TN-Bird] Re: Crows

    I have not seen the numbers lately but for the previous two weeks we had 
been seeing more than the usual numbers of Crows at The Honors Course also. 
Many times we have seen up to 20 in the same spot. They have torn up the 
ground in a couple of areas (no damage just - out of the way areas). That 
usually means grubs are present but I think they are after Cicadas that will 
be showing up soon. I understand this is the year for the 17 year cycle. I 
am sure the Cicada pupa are near the surface now. We have not tried digging 
to see if we could find the Cicadas. I will be interesting if anyone else 
comes to the same conclusion.
