During our driving times to church this morning we saw a couple of good birds.
In Murfreesboro on Route 96 west just after passing Fortress Boulevard
intersection there is a field of tall dead weeds on the left and we found a
Loggerhead Shrike there. Coming back toward Smithville on Route 96 at Milton
Hill we saw a Kreder's Red-tailed Hawk flying across the road in front of us.
This is the second Sunday we've seen this gorgeous bird in the same spot and
marveled that is the prettiest one we've ever seen.
