We walked at Tinsley Park yesterday afternoon, & revisited the nest location beside the public pool that we posted about yesterday. The nest was not nearly as big as remembered, probably 18" diameter x 9" deep. The immature hawk was seen patrolling the recreational area parking lot (the Eastern bluebirds scattered wildy). It was definitely an immature red tail hawk. While watching it survey the scene from the top of a lamp post, a minature dog come upon us. We found the owners & warned them to get their dog because the hawk looked hungry. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Address AutoComplete - You start.
