I had a brief visit last evening from a beautiful white-crowned sparrow with a brilliant white crown. Thought it might be a new yard bird but when I checked it turns out I also had one in 2002. The sparrow was under the sunflower seed feeder for about 5 minutes in my back yard in west Knox County, Tennessee.
