The American Eagle Foundation of Pigeon Forge, TN will be flying its non-releasable bald eagle, Challenger <http://www.eagles.org/about/Our-Special-Eagles/challenger.php> , during the National Anthem of the Fiesta Bowl in Arizona tonight, January 3. Assuming ESPN will show the National Anthem, as they usually do for bowl games, you can see the flight at approximately 7:30 Central Time and 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time. For more information about Challenger and some of his awesome accomplishments, click on or Google, "Challenger Opens Doors <http://www.eagles.org/assets/files/pdf/Challenger-BobHatcher.pdf> ". Since 1996, AEF has flown him at an annual average of 20 major sporting events, national conferences, etc., nationwide, in order to help with public eagle awareness and support of eagles and other wildlife. You can see his flights at some of these major events by clicking on "Challenger" on AEF's home page web site, www.eagles.org. I will be presenting a PowerPoint program of "Challenger's Story" at Wilderness Wildlife Week in Pigeon Forge <http://www.mypigeonforge.com/events_winterfest_wilderness.aspx> on Friday, January 18 at 3:30 p.m. and at the Tennessee Sandhill Crane Festival <http://www.tncranefestival.org/> at the Birchwood School at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 19.
