[TN-Bird] Re: Cerulean Warblers on my BBS routes

The Perry County BBS route that Adam Beachy and I did yesterday, 5/31/15 also
produced a singing male Cerulean at an unexpected location. (We normally don't
get them on this route, in spite of having about 5 pairs close by).
With this nice addition to our warbler list, we had all 15 of the expected
summer resident warblers yesterday morning on our route.

Subject: [TN-Bird] Cerulean Warblers on my BBS routes

The two Breeding Bird Survey routes I have conducted so far this year
have each yielded two Cerulean Warblers, which is a good showing for
this area. Each was also at a stop where I have not previously had
the species (in about 9 years of covering these routes). The Wrigley
route yesterday (5/30/15) turned up one each in the Hickman and
Williamson County sections, and the Collinwood route today (5/31/15)
similarly revealed one each in the Wayne and Lawrence county segments.

I also had a lingering Blackpoll Warbler in Lawrence County on the
Collinwood route this morning, singing extremely vigorously directly
over my truck.
