[TN-Bird] Cades Cove Field trip, Blount County

This morning 13 chilled birders enjoyed the invigorating temperatures and  
strong breezes while birding the Cades Cove campground and sewage ponds.   We 
had excellent views of Purple finches, 9 Wilson snipe, ducks and FOS  Blue-gray 
gnatcatcher.  While it was too windy for butterflies, we did hear  the 
trilling call of mating American toads at the sewage ponds.  Birds  found 
during our 
2 hour walk were:

Turkey  Vulture
Wilson's Snipe
