The 19th Cades Cove CBC was held on Saturday, December 23, 2017. Strong
winds with gusts up to 35 mph occurred in the morning. This was followed by
a period of heavy rain which fell into the early afternoon. There were
fourteen participants in six parties but party hours were cut almost in
half due to the conditions. Number of species and individuals seen were way
below average, needless to say.
Thanks to everyone who came out and counted despite the conditions.
