Seven birders awaited a Tuesday morning sunrise showing of the
BURROWING OWL on Herbert Rd in New Johnsonville, but the bird
was not seen during a wait of at least 45 minutes. The bird
also was searched for yesterday evening and again it was not
seen. As reported by Mike Todd, the viewing area where the
bird previously was seen is very distant and extremely
limited with much of the area around the previous sightings
blocked from view.
