Subject: [TN-Bird] Buffalo River and Savannah CBCs
Count season is rapidly approaching and help is always needed on these two
counts. Buffalo River CBC is always held on the first Tuesday or Thursday of
the count season, whichever is earlier. This year, that date will be Tuesday,
December 18. I currently have two areas without party leaders. Another area
could be split, if help is available. If you would rather count shrikes instead
of ducks, come join us.
The date for the Savannah CBC has always fluctuated based on available help,
however, I am now needing to set a a date to avoid conflicts with a new count
I am compiling in North Alabama (Wheeler Dam). From now on, Savannah CBC will
be December 30 each year. In years when December 30 falls on a Sunday, the
count will be Saturday, December 29. That is the case this year. If you are
available and interested on December 29, let me know. I always need extra eyes
and boots for this one.
