Today while working a Great Smoky Mountains booth at the Foothills Fall Festival I saw two different groups of Chimney swifts over downtown Maryville in Blount County. One was over 35 and the there over 50 birds. Needless to say it was very cool and breezy with temps about 45 and after 8 hours I am glad to be home.
