[TN-Bird] Black-bellied Whistling Ducks in Memphis

Looks like they are going to become regular, 16 photographed on May 8, a  
pair photographed on June 7 and now probably the same pair on July 4. This last 
 
pair was found not 30 feet from where the June pair rested in the marsh and 
may  be the same birds but these birds feed continuously where the others 
rested 
most  of the time. They fooled me at first being much drabber in my scope, 
less white  showing on the sides but after much more study and looking at the 
June photos  I've decided these birds are just in worn adult plumage. As before 
you can  tell the female has the paler beak and plumage and the male doing 
most  of the look out duties. Very handsome pair, photos at:
