Ten days ago the U. S. House Interior committee moved on to the House a bill
that would increase funding for the Neotropical Migratory Bird Conservation Act
by a million-dollars (a 20% increase). As you know, NMBCA helps some 400
species, including some of the most endangered in North America.
This is a very important bill for birds! But still it has to make it through
the full House, and then the Senate. See article from ABC:

The bill also includes substantial increases for the nation's core program for
a wide variety of wildlife-related projects by state fish and wildlife agencies
throughout the U. S.; and for conservation projects for wetland birds in North
America.
Thank you.
