Allan et al,

I had a high number of Killdeer too in Boones Creek [Washington County] beh=
ind the Johnson City Power Board.  The half wet detention basin produced 56=
 Killdeer [quick count as they scattered because of my presence].  Not quit=
e the numbers you had but about 1/2.  Still it was a bit surprising.  I am =
going to try and keep an eye on this site during shorebird migration if I c=
an get permission from the power board to do so. =20

July 20th, 2006 from 2:02 and 3:02 pm.  Selected birds observed are given=

2. Solitary Sandpiper- 6
3. Spotted Sandpiper- 1
4. Least Sandpiper- 1
5. Greater Yellowlegs- 1
6. Great Egret- 1
